Fagradalsfjall (Reykjanes Peninsula, Iceland): The Icelandic Met Office (IMO) noted that a fourth eruptive fissure opened on 9 April at about 03:00 local time. Located between the second and third eruption site, the new fissure vent started to erupt another basaltic lava flow. Japan's National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience (NIED) reported a magnitude 4.6 quake in Japan near Naze, Amami Shi, Kagoshima, only 15 minutes ago. The earthquake hit early morning on Monday 12 April 2021 at 4:18 am local time at a shallow depth of 15.7 km. A magnitude 4.6 earthquake near Pampa Honda, Chiapas, Mexico, was reported only 24 minutes ago by Mexico's National Seismological Service (SSN), considered the main national agency that monitors seismic activity in Mexico. The earthquake occurred at a shallow depth of 22 km beneath the epicenter around noon on Sunday 11 April 2021 at 12:12 pm local time.
